Humble Christians in this World

30 Jan
Polycarp by bravery and courage would join other martyrs, when he was asked to denounce Christ.  He refused and gladly accepted the brute punishment of  the lion’s mouth rather than denying the one who ransomed his soul. He explained that the torture of that death (being tossed to lions) would only last a moment compared to the tortures of hell, which will last eternity.  He chose Jesus his savior.  All for the glory of the gospel.
Some Americans have not faced that reality of cherishing their faith (not religion) in Christ. Yet, others (modern day martyrs) have faced and still face that reality. Those having the freedom to speak Jesus in their home without fear of persecution should be on bended knees daily asking for blessings and prayers over the brothers and sisters in Christ, who don’t have that freedom. Many are being persecuted for righteousness sake has scripture foretold.
Prayer is the greatest weapon Christians have. Yet it is the least used.  It is the fastest form of communication from earth to heaven. Yet, none hardly reach out by word upon those elect less fortunate.  Prayer without ceasing, is essential in the walk of faith. I bid to whom read this please pray over our brothers and sisters in Christ whom face harsh oppression for the sake of the gospel.
FYI: Polycarp can be read about in many books and places in christendom. For further information use: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polycarp
